Frequently asked questions

How does Dealmania choose products?

We compare specs, real-world performance and price against what each product is meant for, then check the live store listing to make sure the exact configuration matches what we describe.

Are the prices up to date?

Prices and stock come directly from Amazon and Walmart and refresh automatically. Deals can change quickly, so the price at the store’s checkout is always the final one.

Do you only cover laptops?

No. Besides laptops, we pick phones by price range, monitors for work and gaming, and desktop PCs from mini PCs to gaming towers.

Which laptop should I get?

It depends on what you’ll use it for. Start with gaming laptops, student laptops, editing & productivity, work or general use, and see our buying guides if you’re unsure what specs you need.

What does “Renewed” mean?

Renewed (refurbished) products are pre-owned devices that a seller has inspected and tested before reselling them. They cost less than new, but battery health and cosmetic condition can vary, so check the warranty and return policy. We label renewed picks in their descriptions.

What is the difference between unlocked, prepaid and international phones?

Unlocked phones work with most US carriers. Prepaid or carrier-locked phones only work with that carrier, at least at first. International models can be missing some US network bands and usually have no US warranty. Each phone’s description says which kind it is.

Do you recommend products for different budgets?

Yes. Every category covers a range of prices, from budget-friendly options to high-performance models, and phones are sorted into price ranges.

Do you use affiliate links?

Some links on Dealmania are affiliate links. If you buy a product through one of these links, Dealmania may receive a commission at no extra cost to you. It never changes which products we recommend.
